My husband and I are raising six children in Southern California. I enjoy hiking, trail running, obstacle course racing, and Spartan events. I believe in service to the community, and my sense of duty is reflected in the fact that three of my six children chose to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces.

- Awarded the Dean Service Award at Loyola Law School for her work in conflict resolution with at-risk youth at Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Los Angeles while working as a meditator at The Center for Conflict Resolution at Loyola Law School.
- I’ve mentored teens and young adults specifically as a Troy Tech Mentor and through Orange County Project Youth, Project SELF (Summer Employment at a Law Firm).
- In the area of community policy enforcement, I prepared the DNC mass arrest response manual for law enforcement. I assisted the Los Angeles City Attorney in developing a state-level proposal for the regulation of tobacco sales to at-risk youth in the inner city.
- I’ve served on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club in Orange County.
- I’ve taught the parental rights and responsibilities section at Kids and Crime and Orange Country Diversion program for juveniles.
- In the area of criminal law, I have prosecutorial experience at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Whittier Superior Court, and the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, Maria Reyes Facility while in law school and worked as a private defense attorney in adult and juvenile court handling misdemeanors to felony cases.
- I serve on the Executive Committee of the William P. Gray Legion Lex Inn of Court Foundation.
- I currently serve on the Board of Directors of Orange County Project Youth.
